Is there something unique about this work that no other composer had tried before?

Some biographical info you found in your research that pertains directly to the piece. (Do not recap the entire life of the composer in this paper). For instance: When was the piece written? What was going on in the composers life at that time?

Any unique facts you found in your research about this piece. For instance, does it have an unusual number of movements? List its nickname, if it has one. Is there something unique about this work that no other composer had tried before? Was part of this piece used in later centuries as an anthem, or theme music for some organization, or adapted for a movie score, etc.? What did other composers think of it?

At least two specific musical observations for each movement. Describe what you hear in your own words, use an internal track timing ( minutes: seconds) to help the reader find what you are referring to. For instance: “The first movement begins slowly and quietly, at 02:31 there is an abrupt and unexpected change of speed and many more instruments join in making it much louder. I believe I hear trumpets with the main melody. The slow, introductory material returns near the end at 11:17.” A recurring problem in some of the weaker papers I read in this course is usually that there is no evidence the music itself was studied carefully.

Citations: a bibliography of correct, working urls to your internet sources is required. Put it at the end of your paper. Limit your sources to those that can be accessed by the reader of your paper via the internet. It is easy to find all the info you need via the internet for this assignment. Example: website urls or static urls of database articles. Footnotes are not required.
