Well at least not until we have problems doing so. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the name given to several disease processes that compromise the lungs and air passages.

Adults and children alike suffer each and every year with respiratory tract infections. According to the American Journal of Medicine respiratory tract infections number 1.25 million per year and cost insurance companies $470 million dollars a year.
