Now that you have finished your research, what was the most interesting thing you discovered about your issue? Explain why you found this information interesting. In what ways was your topic relevant to you personally?
In response to your peers, describe what interests you about their topic and what further questions you might have after reading about their research.

A fact that I found interesting about genetic engineering is that with all the possibilities it can achieve extending a humans lifespan is frowned upon. Even with everyone nowadays trying to live happy and healthy to live as long as possible that option is off the table. The emotional toll of outliving your loved ones is to great to weigh against living for a long time. The patient would run the risk of loosing their reason for living and their quality of life would suffer. I was really taken back by this, but thinking about it more I completely agree. For me personally I would just like to be happy and healthy it does not matter how much time I have on this earth.

When I first started this project, I was excited, I was looking forward to learning about the amazing process of genetic engineering. As of right now if I could go back and change my issue I would, I feel defeated by this assignment. However even though I am struggling I did learn a few cool things about my issue. I know this probably sounds silly, but I never realized how much generic engineering was used in everyday life. I knew they used it for enhancing the growth of crops, but I didn’t realize it also played a part in our livestock. We can do so much with it and help so many people, all we have to do is continue to research the issue and put it to use to change the way we think about it.
